6/2/14 Elder Peterson - What's Up??

Dear everyone,

Well, how do you do everyone? I'm doing pretty good. This past week has been a blur. I can't believe that another week is gone by in this transfer. This Wednesday it is going to be halfway done, and I'm really having a hard time with figuring out why it goes by so fast.

So, this Saturday we were able to have a practice in the morning for our number we are going to be performing at the Night of Music and Inspiration this upcoming Sunday. It's going to be a ton of fun! I'm really looking forward to the performance. We are going to be singing him number 228  "You Can Make the Pathway Bright" and we are going to have a barbershop swing to it. We will take video for sure.

Alright so for a quick miracle. We were able to visit the Stanley family this past Friday. They are the family that we did service for in mowing their lawn. We got to sit down with them and talk about the questions they had about the church. It was a very crazy discussion.

We were able to bring one of the members of the ward Chris Krugman with us and he helped out a ton with the lesson. He is a returned missionary and has a lot of knowledge of the gospel. He was a great resource in helping us with the questions they had. We are going to be visiting them in two Fridays and we are going to be watching the Joseph Smith video with them.

Also, our investigator Lauren came to church on Sunday. She has been coming the past few weeks and she has been enjoying it a lot! We were able to have her over at a members home last night for dinner and for a discussion. She seemed to have learned a lot and she told us that even though there are sometimes when she is not feeling like coming to church she comes anyway. She knows how much it's blessing her life and she wants it to be a blessing that she can have for the rest of her life.

This morning for P day we were able to take sunrise pictures at Point Lookout. It is the southern most point of Maryland in our Mission. It was gorgeous!!! We had a blast for sure. I am sending a few of those photos this week.

Well I sure do love you all! I hope you have a great week!
